This year’s motto? “Love Never Stops. A strong and clear declaration of intent for what is a unique moment of culinary sharing and integration between cultures.

Already in June, however, San Vito’s summer is coloured with emotions, thanks to the ‘Festival degli aquiloni’. From 13 to 15 June, folklore will be the protagonist, with the historical re-enactment of the landing of San Vito. The feast of the town’s patron saint is an opportunity to learn about the origins of the village and experience it in the evocative light of tradition.

San Vito Lo Capo is also a town that offers a varied artistic proposal of the highest level. From 23 to 25 June, it starts with the ‘San Vito Busker Festival’ dedicated to street artists: stilt-walkers, acrobats, trapeze artists, and professional clowns will pour through the streets of the town, creating a splendid festival with their performances. Writers, both established and emerging, will present their works in the Mediterranean atmosphere of the village, amidst the scents of jasmine and bougainvillea.

There is also room for music and cinema: from July to September, the ‘Colomba Bianca Swing Festival’ retraces the history of swing and jazz with twelve evenings of live music; the ‘Siciliambiente Film Festival’, from 17 to 22 July, offers a review of short films, animated films and documentaries, to raise awareness of environmental protection and climate change.
